They are painted by Slum/Street Youth.We love it when rural children flock around creating a cheerful environment and paint on our Organic T shirts / bags or recycled paper greeting cards... they are trained to paint as beautifully as possible using non-toxic acrylic paints..They love it because they have fun, learning and pocket money at the same time..Their parents love it because their time is used constructively and fruitfully with their children learning an art.We love it because they do :-)75% of the sales profit goes to these youth which help in funding their studies and basic needs.We have a big group of needy youth who would be very willing to especially handpaint these cards and hence these can also be done on a large scale.

It was a great day with the rain god deciding "not to pour heavily" despite the scary news reports ! The visitors were amused and in awe with the products we displayed. Our stall was one of a kind and offered the most ecofriendly and environmentally conscious products.

People also applauded us for our HAAPPIE HANDS initiative where we have no been able to completely fund Nitin's education for this year.

Adya International is a Human and Business Enterprise. So, we believe in both nurturing the environment as well as creating employment.
